1. Getting your transport card

Upon arrival at Changi Airport, follow the signs ‘Train to City’ which will lead you to Changi Airport MRT Station. Purchase the 3-Day Singapore Tourist Pass at $30 at TransitLink Ticket Offices at Terminal 2. Pass price is inclusive of a $10 refundable rental deposit which you can return (at all TransitLink Ticket Offices of any MRT Stations) and get a refund at the end of your trip. The Singapore Tourist Pass gives unlimited basic buses and train rides around Singapore for 3 consecutive days*!

Arriving in the wee hours? You can still purchase the Singapore Tourist Pass via the Automated STP Kiosks located right beside TransitLink Ticket Offices at Terminal 2 and Terminal 3 of Changi Airport MRT Station.

2. Bugis Junction

Head over to Bugis Junction’s Food Junction for lunch where you can find a great variety of delicious local food at affordable prices (mostly below $10) and more importantly, you will be able to enjoy your food in air-conditioned comfort and take a respite from the heat outside! It is located at level 3 of Bugis Junction, which is right above the MRT station!

After lunch, walk around and explore Bugis Junction. There are tourist privileges offered by Bugis Junction!

3. Singaporean’s favourite drink – Bubble Tea!

Walk over to Bugis+ (opposite Bugis Junction) and grab Singaporean’s all-time favourite drink – Bubble Tea! If you are looking for something sweet and creamy, a must-try will be Caramel Black Tea Macchiato (Black tea with sweetened creamy milk foam) at $4.90. If you’re looking for a refreshing drink, try their Honey Green Tea or Honey Oolong Tea at $3.70!

4. Haji Lane

5. St Andrew’s Cathedral

6. Capitol Theatre

Take the underpass from City Hall MRT to Capitol Theatre.

Dinner can be done at Food Republic located at Basement 1 of Capitol Piazza (right beside Capitol Theatre). Be sure to try the Bak Chor Mee (Minced Pork Noodles) for $6.50.

7. Stunning view of the Singapore Skyline

Day 2

1. Traditional Breakfast at Ya Kun Kaya Toast

They serve extremely fragrant Kopi-O (Black coffee with no milk) and Teh-O (Black tea with no milk). 3. Chinatown

Hop onto bus no. 33 or 63 at where you have alighted previously (Block 1) and go towards Chinatown. It’s a 20min bus ride straight to Chinatown! This is where you can find great souvenirs for keepsake. Lunch can be done at People’s Park Hawker Centre where you can get local delicacies like Char Kway Teow, Bak Chor Mee or fried carrot cake below $8!

4. Old Hill Street Police Station

Make a quick trip down to Old Hill Street Police Station to grab a shot against the beautifully painted windows!

5. Central Fire Station

Walk down the road from Old Hill Police Street Police Station and you will find yourself at Central Fire Station. This museum is free for all! Dinner can be done at Funan shopping mall, right opposite the fire station. You can get an affordable bowl of mini wok noodles at $6!

Day 3

1. Old Chang Kee

Try out local’s favourite curry puff by Old Chang Kee. If you’re a fan of fried food, they have a variety of food choices. A few must-try are Curry O’ ($1.50), Sotong Head OnStik ($1.70) and Chicken Wing ($1.70)!

2. Visit Art Science Musuem

2. Peranakan Houses

Check out the Peranakan shop house architecture at Koon Seng road. Take bus 16 or 33 from Dakota MRT Station Exit A and alight 3 stops later. Do a 5 min walk into Koon Seng road where you can start snapping Instagrammable shots with the shop houses.

3. Changi Jewel

Return your Singapore Tourist Pass at Changi Airport MRT Station’s TransitLink Ticket Office Terminal 2 and you will receive the refund of $10 and enroute to Changi Jewel to grab Rich and Good’s Mango swiss roll ($10) at Changi Jewel to end off your 3-day trip on a sweet note (literally)!

Ensure that you have at least 2 hours if you wish to fully explore Changi Jewel!
